Camara + Russell | Oxford Exchange & University of Tampa Engagement Session | Tampa, FL | May 2014

Camara and Russell engagement's photos were thrill to edit. I've known this couple for a while and I know for a fact that people threw parties and parades once they announces their engagement. We had to shoot our session in two different days because our first day was rained out. Luckily, we decided to go to Oxford Exchange for their session. If you live in Tampa Bay and have not yet to visit, you need to grab your favorite paperback and head over to read for a couple hours. The place is truly mesmerizing and unique that makes you forget that you're in Tampa (except for that someone that walkes in with swimming shorts and no shirt).

The session went amazing and one point I had to stop shooting because Camara saw one of her favorite TV characters from "Parenthood"

A couple of weeks after this session, we went to the University of Tampa to finish their engagement session. This is their Alma Matter and the place where they not onlymet each other, but also found an incredible group of people that are now their friends (you even say they are family). As we walked around UT, they recounted how they met and how it was Jesus that brought them together. Now that they've graduated, they both became staff workers with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. They get to love and serve college students in the Tampa Bay area.

Join me in wishing them a life full of love, servanthood and grace.

Don't forget to leave a comment and visit their sneak peeks.

Chris + Melissa Plant City Wedding | First Baptist Church of Plant City | Tampa, FL | May 3rd, 2014

Chris and Melissa are both social workers that love working and serving children in Hillsborough County. I remember meeting at the Starbucks on N Dale Mabry and seeing how much respect and love they have for each other. I commend them for pouring out their hearts into the foster care system, yet still having enough love and energy for each other.

They had their ceremony and a small reception at First Baptist Church of Plant City. This was the Church were Melissa grew up and her parents are still members. Melissa's sister stood with her as her maid of Honor and Chris' dad was the best man. You could sense that both of the families were excited to see them become husband and wife.

After their ceremony and a small reception at the Church, Chris and Melissa headed out to the Carrollwood Recreation Center to finish the rest of the night with dancing and great music!
Side note: Chris and one of his groomsmen met at Carrollwood Elementary, which it's across the street from the Venue.
