Even though the weather looked gloomy during the entire day, Kevin & Nicole's wedding continued as planned. The emotions were running high as the day progressed and the rain did not seem to be stopping anytime soon. Something that struck me as unique was the way Nicole's bridesmaids surrounded her and served her during the morning and afternoon. They took care of the little details, the flowers getting to the right person, the dress fitting perfectly and making sure that Nicole felt at peace. After much praying and checking the weather forecast, the rain stopped just a few minutes before the ceremony. As the guest gathered around the deck and waited for the ceremony to start, Kevin and his groomsmen huddled on the back praying for this new life he was about to embark on with Nicole.
One of my favorite things about their ceremony was the moment that their pastor took out different board games to illustrate a few points about marriage. An analogy about marriage using the game battleship! That was awesome.
The day couldn't have gotten any better and they exchange their vows, rings and headed over the beautiful reception at the Hollywood Venue.
